Halifax, NS – The Big One is back! This coming weekend, March 31st through April 2nd, the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show returns to Halifax Exhibition Centre for Atlantic Canada’s largest home show.
The show will feature everything for basic home improvements, maintenance projects, major renovations and new construction. Both inside and outdoor projects will be in focus, as this year’s edition also includes the Ideal Garden & Patio Show, presented by Landscape Nova Scotia.
All new for 2017, the Spring Ideal Home Show will offer a variety of family-friendly features, including:
- Family-friendly admission pricing, with free entry for those under 18 when accompanied by paying adult
- Children’s features, including a seed planting activity with Agrium seeds, sponsored by Landscape Nova Scotia and 4-H; a paver activity puzzle provided by Shaw Brick; and an Easter photo booth with Spiderman and Belle from Beauty & the Beast (Saturday & Sunday only)
- A beautiful Prestige Home, located outside and open for tours
- Some furry friends to meet and adopt right at the show with SPCA Nova Scotia
- Free acupressure massages, acupuncture, and fire cupping, courtesy of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Additionally, a selection of informative seminars will once again take place on the Spring Ideal Home Show Stage, with sessions running throughout the three days of the show. Topics will include solar heating for electricity and hot water, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, outdoor living trends, common insurance myths and best practices, and more! Visitors to the show will also be able to fill out a ballot for their chance to win a handcrafted Amish Rocker valued at over $1,700.00, courtesy of KVADRO Furniture.
