Moncton, NB – The 2018 edition of the Moncton RV Show wrapped up on Sunday after three days of RV-filled fun March 9 through 11 at the Moncton Coliseum. Even with back-to-back winter storms early in the weekend, visitors came out ready to shop, with the show resulting in a total 92 unit sales.
“We were happy to see such a crowd over the weekend, especially considering the weather,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “With a significant increase in unit sales, it just goes to show that people are ready for the warmer months ahead and for camping season to start!”
Exhibitors and visitors alike enjoyed coming in out of the cold for a weekend showcasing everything to do with the RV lifestyle. From small towable trailers to luxurious park models, the show featured hundreds of units on site, including the very latest makes and models from eight of the Maritimes’ leading dealers:
At the show, each visitor who purchased an RV was entered into a draw to win $10,000 – a returning crowd-favourite feature. The winner of this year’s Ten Grand in Your Hand prize was Charles Hopper of Moncton. He bought a 2018 Sportsmen 333BH from Pine Acres RV Moncton at the show and took home the grand prize. Congratulations!
Even with the weather postponing the Second-Annual Washer Toss Tournament by a day, teams came out on Sunday to battle it out for the coveted title. Big congratulations to first place winners ‘The Estrellas’ and second place team ‘The Haneytown Habs’! Thank you to Washer Toss sponsor Pine Acres RV.
