Thank you for making year two of the Pictou County Home Show a success!

With thousands of visitors and a committed group of engaged exhibitors, we were happy to be back this weekend at the Pictou County Wellness Centre for the second annual Pictou County Home Show. Even though winter has decided to go out like a lion, lots of new and returning visitors braved the cold weather to set their spring home improvement plans in motion.

As this event is still new to the area, it is great to see the community’s support hold strong after a smashing success in 2017. Again this year, we teamed up with Stones RV for Nova Scotia’s Largest RV Sale, providing an impressive showcase of everything Pictou County residents could need for their home – or home away from home.

Feedback from everyone who took part in the show was very positive, with exhibitors reporting solid leads and sales on the show floor. PLUS: visitors were able to enter for some awesome door prizes, including:
– a Fireplace Insert from Vintage Stove & Fireplace (won by Darrell Maxwell)
– a cordless drill kit compliments of Hector Building Supplies (won by Lori Stewart-Delorey)
– and a $250 prize pack from Winmill Electric and Harbour Crossing Properties (won by Ed Ferguson)

Thank you to those who provided door prizes, as well as everyone who organized their own giveaways and show specials throughout the weekend. Your extra effort truly elevates the show and makes it that much more exciting for attendees!

With a good mix of service providers, contractors, retailers and more, there was something to see at this year’s Pictou County Home Show for everyone. Plenty of families took advantage of free admission for children under 18 – it is always encouraging to see such a diverse group of visitors out on the show floor.
