Abbotsford, BC – The BC Sportsmen’s Show is getting ready to take over Abbotsford’s TRADEX March 1 through 3. A long-running annual favourite of the region’s outdoor enthusiasts, the event features fishing and boating alongside other outdoor activities such as hunting and camping. 2019 marks the 28th edition of the show, which promises to bring hundreds of exhibitors together for the largest show of its kind in the region.
“This annual three-day event is the candy store for fishing, boating, hunting and outdoor enthusiasts,” said Les Trendall, Show Manager. “Whatever the outdoor adventure, visitors will find the products and services they need for fishing, boating, camping, ATVing, hunting, and much more.”
The BC Sportsmen’s Show continually welcomes tens of thousands of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen to see the wide range of exhibitors, products and seminars. In 2018, the show saw over 30,000 total visitors over the course of three days. Hundreds of exhibitors will come together at the expansive TRADEX complex. New this year: attendees will have a chance to win a grand door prize sponsored by Checkpoint Yamaha; the winner will have a choice of three prize options, including a boat & trailer package, 2018 Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATV, or a family dirtbike package – all three options are valued at $11,000 or more.
In addition, there will be a full lineup of professional and knowledgeable seminar speakers giving insights to the world of hunting and fishing throughout the event. Speakers will include an array of experts, with World Champions in Elk Calling and Fly Casting set to appear on the stage. Full schedules are available online here.
Visitors are encouraged to avoid the line-ups and buy tickets in advance on the show website, www.BCSportsmenShow.ca. Tickets are $15.00 per adult, with special pricing for juniors, seniors, and families.
