Moncton, NB – After a three-year pandemic hiatus the Moncton Boat Show / New Brunswick Sportsmen & Fly Fishing Show wrapped up on last Sunday after three days of outdoor excitement, April 8 through 10 at the Moncton Coliseum. Over 8,100 visitors came out for this dual show where consumers stocked up on all the essentials for their summer hobbies.
“There was an incredible turn-out last weekend at the Moncton Coliseum,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “Everyone was in great spirits and attendees were eager to make big purchases.”
The Moncton Boat Show portion featured some of the newest marine models on the show floor where attendees got onboard watercraft from twelve of the Maritimes’ leading dealers:
The New Brunswick Sportsmen and Fly-Fishing portion of the event attracted hunting and fishing enthusiasts from all three Atlantic provinces with the Archery Demos, Casting Pond, Fly Tying Experts, and Seminar Stage features all weekend long.
This year’s door prize package was sponsored by Long Lake Adventures, FISH EAST and Duckett Fishing who gave away 2 nights’ accommodations in one of their self-contained cottages! The prize also included two 6’9” Green Ghost Spinning Rods and two Duckett SB2500 Spinning Reels. The lucky winner of this prize was Brennan Burke! Congratulations!
