Moncton, NB – The Moncton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show made a resounding return to the Moncton Coliseum this past weekend. March 24 through 26, thousands of outdoors people came out to explore the latest in the fishing, fly-tying, hunting and boating industries.
On one side of the building, the boat show portion displayed over 150 of this year’s newest watercraft models and other marine accessories. In the adjacent hall, the sportsmen and fly-fishing portion offered a full display of lures, fly tying accessories, fishing rods, gear and more. Each portion gave visitors a glimpse at the 2023 outdoor season, no matter their respective hobbies.
“We hit a new record with Saturday’s attendance and saw close to 9000 people over 3 days” said Scott Sprague, Event Manager. “Boaters and sportsmen alike came together to really make this show a success. Thanks to all who came out.”

- Presentations from Hook & Paddle in their booth
- Screening of the International Fly-Fishing Film Festival hosted by the Dieppe Fly Tying Club
- Live fly-tying from local professionals
- Dozens of free presentations on the Seminar Stage
- Casting aisle demos and presentations sponsored by Eskape Anglers and Vision Fly Fishing
- And more!
Visitors also had the opportunity to scan the QR code at the door for the chance to win a $500 gift card to Minnow Tackle Shop! Congratulations to this year’s winner, Matthew Reicker. The Shediac Squadron of CPS-ECP was also giving away a free online WHF Course in their booth. Congratulations to the winner, Yvan Laviolette.
A big thank you goes out to Strike Back’s Adam Foster, David Chong and Joe Ford from Canada Bass, and Line of Sight TV’s Anthony Dickson for their exciting presentations on the seminar stage and overall participation in the event.
