Halifax, NS – Halifax’s Exhibition Centre will soon welcome the Maritime’s largest event for the home. The Ideal Home Show Powered By Nova Scotia Power opens its doors this week for full 3-days for home renovation inspiration, March 22-24.
“The move-in process has begun here at the building and we’re so excited to welcome everyone back.” says Sean Miller, Show Manager. “It’s so encouraging to see the show continue to grow each year, this year being one of the best yet.”
The fan-favourite seminar stage will return once again on the Saturday and Sunday of the event. The stage is proudly sponsored by Efficiency Nova Scotia. Full schedule below:
Bring the kids down to the Discovery Centre feature booth to check out their hand-on energy exhibits. Activity times are Saturday from 11am-4pm and Sunday from 10am-3pm.
Before you enter the show, be sure to tour the beautiful, designed homes from Citadel Home and LJ Patterson & Sales.
The show is also proud to be hosting a food drive in support of Feed Nova Scotia. Visitors are encouraged to bring anon-perishable food item to support the cause.

Tickets for the event are now available and can be purchased online or at the door during the event. Purchasing tickets online automatically enters you in the draw for the chance to win the show’s door prize plus scan the QR code onsite for a second chance to win a Bar Harbour Le, Five person 40-Jet Hot Tub with Lounger. Regular adult admission is $12.00, Seniors are $10.00, and children under 18 are free of charge.
