Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Boat Show swept into the EY Centre for its 43rd edition February 22 to 25, with over 300 boats on display. Attendance held strong over last year as thousands of visitors came to experience everything to do with the recreational boating lifestyle.

“We heard from exhibitors and visitors alike that this year’s show was a hit,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “With features like the live fishing tank and pro staff, along with the region’s most prestigious showcase of watercraft, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”

A variety of the region’s top dealers were in attendance and reported strong sales at the show. With top brands and a vast array of gear and services all under one roof, there was something to offer for every type of boating enthusiast.

Highlights from this year’s edition included advice for new boaters from Discover Boating, informative seminar sessions from pro staff at the LIVE fish tank, the Tall Ship Olympics, Family Day sponsored by Pirate Cove Marina, Water Safety Day sponsored by Ontario Power Generation, and much more – from casting lessons to a model boat showcase.

Congratulations to winners of the show’s exciting door prizes:

  • Danielle Tite, winner of the prize sponsored by At the Lake (ATL): the Retro™ 2 towable valued at over $300
  • Genevieve Vanier, winner of a Weekend Seadoo rental sponsored by Loiselle Sports worth $500
