Moncton, NB – This Wednesday and Thursday, Moncton will host the Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology (MEET) Show at the Moncton Coliseum. The second-largest event of its nature in Canada, and the largest trade event east of Montreal, the one-of-a-kind show covers everything from lighting, plumbing, heating, electronics, mechanics and beyond.
“After two years of planning, we’re looking forward to a big crowd for the 2018 MEET Show,” says Shawn Murphy, Show Manager. “All corners of the building technology industry come together for this event, including more than 400 exhibitors in total. With thousands of attendees already confirmed through pre-registration, we’re prepared for a very busy two days!”
Held on a biennial basis, the event represents a diverse array of contractors, developers, engineers, architects, tradespeople, building managers, distributors, utilities and virtually anybody involved in industrial, commercial and residential work. New products and technology will be displayed at the show, presenting opportunities for industry professionals to access the latest innovations currently on the market.

The MEET Show’s free, informative seminar series will include sessions presented by each of the four sponsoring associations. Attendance at the seminar program is considered informal education and counts toward professional development credits with the following associations: Engineers Nova Scotia, Engineers PEI, and APEGNB. MEET is pleased to hold the 5th biennial ‘MEET Innovation Awards’ as part of the 2018 edition of the show, to recognize innovative products in the industry. The four winning exhibitors will be presented with the awards during the event.
