OTTAWA, ON – In just a few days, the Greater Ottawa Region’s largest boat show will set sail in the EY Centre. The 2019 edition of the Ottawa Boat Show is back this week February 21 through 24, bringing together thousands of boating enthusiasts from across Ontario and into Quebec.

The annual event showcases a massive selection of boats, docks, marine accessories, kayaks, canoes, and personal watercraft from over twenty of the region’s leading dealers & manufacturers.

“The Ottawa Boat Show is the best place to see the latest options for recreational boaters on the market,” said Scott Sprague, Show Manager. “Dealers bring a wide range of stock and show-only specials, which makes this an opportune time to buy. Plus, with free parking on Thursday and Friday, fishing and boating seminars, and Family Day on Saturday, there’s a full weekend worth of activities for everyone in the family.”

For more than four decades, the Ottawa Boat Show has been part of the region’s rich heritage. The 2019 event marks the 44th edition of this classic event for those who love to spend time in, on and around the water.

Free parking at the EY Centre will be available for guests on Thursday and Friday, sponsored by Orleans Boat World and partners:

  • A new seminar stage with presentations from experts within the local boating community. Boat buying tips, water safety, and other topics will be discussed.
  • Family Day on Saturday presented by Pirate Cove Marina – where the first 50 families through the door will receive a swag bag.
  • Displays from the Manotick Classic Boat Club and Capital Marine Modellers’ Guild, and other local non-profit groups including conservation organization BlueFish Canada.

A door prize of one Aquaglide Retro 2 Towable tube from At The Lake Distributing will be available for guests to enter to win, and other prizes and giveaways will be hosted at various booths around the show.
