Saint John, NB – The popular Saint John Home Show returns this weekend to Harbour Station, from Friday, March 15th through Sunday, March 17th. Previously known as the Atlantic National Home Show, the show was rebranded this year as the Saint John Home Show to better reflect the location it takes place and the area it serves. Known as New Brunswick’s construction and renovation showcase, 2019 marks the 42nd edition of the annual event, and it will once again bring together the leaders of home building and renovation industries from all over the southern part of the province and beyond.

“Although it has a new name, the Saint John Home Show is still the same exceptional home show that people from Sussex to St. Stephen have been trusting for over four decades,” said Denise Miller, Senior Show Manager. “This year, we’re excited to present a selection of brand-new, first time exhibitors, alongside many longtime, returning exhibitors. As always, it’s an extensive showcase of different companies with products and services for the home, along with ideas and inspiration for the modern DIY renovator. Visitors reliably leave inspired with a plan of action for their next home project.”

At the show, visitors will have easy access to home improvement experts and advice for every project: inside and out, big or small.

This year’s show will include many special features, including a variety of seminars throughout the weekend on topics including personal vs. mortgage insurance, reducing your carbon footprint, First Aid at home, motivation and making your vision a reality, renovating your kitchen, and more! The full schedule is available on the show website.

Additionally:

  • Visitors can once again enjoy free parking during the home show, compliments of Irving Energy.
  • Westmorland Homes is giving visitors the opportunity to tour a brand new model cottage from Maple Leaf Homes right inside Harbour Station. This amazing full-size cottage was built especially for the show.
  • Cedarcrest Gardens will be back with the Great to be Green section, showcasing air plants, succulents, indoor tropical plants and more. Visitors can drop by their booth to purchase plants and get information for caring for them.
  • The Amazeatorium Pop Up Playground will offer tons of fun for kids and their parents! Stop by to build a fort, a tunnel, a see-saw, a sculpture, anything they can imagine!
  • Many companies will be featuring new products and show-only specials right at their booths.
  • Visitors can fill out a ballot at the show to win exciting door prizes from Hydrokleen Atlantic, the Saint John Tool Library & DIY Centre and NB Power.

Family-friendly pricing will be offered again this year, with those 18 and under FREE when accompanied by an adult. Admission rates are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors (60+) with tickets available at the door. On Friday afternoon between 12pm and 5pm, senior admission for seniors is just $4.

As always, a portion of the show proceeds go directly to the Saint John Y Service Club to benefit the worthwhile charitable work they do in and around the Saint John area.

To keep up-to-date, visitors are encouraged to visit the show’s website at www.SaintJohnHomeShow.ca and to follow the show on Facebook and Twitter.
