Moncton, NB – In just a few weeks, the Atlantic Truck Show will be moving into the Moncton Coliseum with gleaming displays of the latest trucks, trailers, and big iron on today’s market. Presented by the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, the Atlantic Truck Show will take place June 7 & 8 and is the largest event of its kind east of Montreal.

The Atlantic Truck Show draws visitors from throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and beyond. Held every two years, the event attracts big crowds, with more than 12,000 attendees taking part in the most recent edition in 2017.

“Things have been busy with planning and preparation for this year’s event,” said Mark Cusack, National Show Manager. “With booth space sold out, there are major industry players getting ready to debut their latest and greatest products. We’ve renewed our focus on showcasing vocational trucks, so visitors can expect a fresh look at their options for all different sectors of the transportation industry – not just highway vehicles.”

This year’s show will feature a diverse range of products, from transmissions and suspensions, to trucks and bodies – including a variety of innovative power solutions, cargo management systems, and vocational equipment.

Some special features to take in at the 2019 Atlantic Truck Show include:

  • SALUTE TO WOMEN BEHIND THE WHEEL

The 2019 Canadian Salute to Women Behind the Wheel takes place on Saturday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. This celebration of professional female drivers is presented by OBAC, Trucking Human Resources Sector Council Atlantic, and the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, in partnership with Women in Trucking.

  • RIDE & DRIVE

Visitors can experience the latest in comfort, efficiency and performance as they test drive brand new trucks from participating manufacturers.

  • OPPORTUNITIES IN TRUCKING SEMINARS

High school students and adults not currently working in the trucking industry are invited to attend a seminar at the show to learn about the many different employment opportunities in this diverse field, presented by the APTA’s Transport Liaison Officer.

  • SPECIALTY TRUCKS

Don’t miss the mint condition pull-toy 1980 Freightliner, built by Cummins. Additional feature & antique trucks will also be on display.

  • INNOVATIVE PRODUCT AWARDS

This year’s winners of the annual Innovative Product Awards will be announced prior to the event, and the winning products will be on display at the show.
