Halifax, NSMotorcycle and Powersport Atlantic opens in Halifax this week, March 6-8 at the Halifax Exhibition Centre. With a jam-packed schedule of high-octane features in store for visitors, including a strongman showdown, a tattoo competition, youth riding demos, custom bikes, and more, the event is anticipating thousands of attendees over the weekend.

“We’re getting ready to welcome the crowds this weekend, moving hundreds of bikes and related products into the Halifax Exhibition Centre,” says Scott Sprague, Event Manager. “This event is now entering its seventh year, and the Maritime riding community has embraced the show with arms wide open. We’re anticipating large crowds and an engaged group of bike enthusiasts from all across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and other neighbouring provinces.”

As the only event of its kind in the Maritimes, Motorcycle and Powersport Atlantic will showcase hundreds of models filling the Halifax Exhibition Centre – including top brands of the latest in motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and more. The region’s leading dealers will be on site with vehicles for every type of rider.

One brand new addition to this year’s Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic lineup is the Heavier Than Hell strongman competition, hosted in partnership with Renfrew Strength & Conditioning Center and Popeye’s Supplements. Spanning Saturday and Sunday, visitors can look forward to impressive shows of strength at the Strongman Open & Renfrew Pro CPF Ironman. The events welcome everyone – women and men, amateurs and seasoned pros alike. Full schedule for the event can be found on the show’s website.

Live tattooing and a beard competition will be held onsite as well, showing off some of the region’s most talented artists and beard enthusiasts. This year’s beard competition will be hosted by Q104 and participants can register to participate at the Q104 booth – judging will take place on Saturday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.

Tickets for the show are available online in advance, and at the door. Adult Passes are $13, Junior Passes (aged 10-16) are $9 (Children under the age of 10 are free when accompanied by an adult), and Full Event Passes are $25 and family passes (2 adults, 2 juniors) are $30.
