Charlottetown, PE – North America’s leading potato event, returns to the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, March 30-31 2022. The International Potato Technology Expo will welcome growers and harvesters from across the Maritimes to Charlottetown next month.
Some of the features of this key trade event include:

• The conference portion of the event runs both days, with educational sessions hosted by experts from academia, businesses, and government. See the full schedule and topics by clicking here.
• Products on display will include harvesters, sprayers, pilers, cultivators, storage and climatization technology, tractors, machinery, seed cutters, plant genetics, seeds, bagging equipment, and more.
• A variety of show-only specials and new products debuting on the trade show floor.

Pre-registration is open for the event and has been going strong. Visitors are encouraged to plan their visit early to save money, get their show badge in advance, and skip lines at the venue. Registration is $10.00 online in advance or $20.00 at the door and is valid for both show trade days and all conference sessions. Access convenient online registration by clicking here.

“It’s encouraging to see the pre-registration numbers grow these past few weeks,” said Show Manager, Shawn Murphy. “It goes to show that people are excited to connect with other industry members again and test new products and technologies that have emerged in the past two years, in-person.”

This year, after consulting with exhibitors, event organizers have decided to host the event on a Thursday and Friday date this year, with extended hours on Thursday. In previous years, the event was typically held on a Friday and Saturday.
