CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show is getting ready to take over the BMO Centre, February 10-12. An annual tradition for the region’s outdoor enthusiasts promises to bring over 100 exhibitors together for the largest show of its kind in southern Alberta in addition to a range of interactive features for all ages.
The 2023 Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show is set to display the latest in fishing, hunting, boating, cottage lifestyle, paddle sports, accessories and much more.
“We’re getting ready to welcome back hundreds of visitors over the course of the three days.” said Les Trendall, Event Manager. “There really is no better time to gear up for the spring and summer seasons.”
Country Singer and CCMA and Juno Award winning Brett Kissel will be at the show on Saturday, February 11th from 2pm to 4:30pm, promoting his hunting show Backwoods Backstage. Brett can be found in the AHEIA booth E20 with the cast from his show, signing autographs and meeting fans. At 4:30, fans can also check out the stage where Brett, the cast of Backwoods Backstage and Show Ambassador Wes David will host a Q&A session.
Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of all of the family-friendly features spread throughout the show. Test your skills at the casting pond, watch a 3-D archery demo from AHEIA or take in a presentation on the main stage! The Fly-Casting Pond will also be offering free kids casting lessons courtesy of Out Fly Fishing, as well as formal demos schedule throughout the day. Visitors can plan their visit around the full schedule:
