Halifax, NS – Home renovation enthusiasts can get excited as the 2024 Ideal Home Show Powered By Nova Scotia Power will make its return to the Halifax Exhibition Centre, March 22-24! From basic home improvements and maintenance projects to major renovations and new construction, this event rounds together all the essentials to get any dream project done.
“This event is such a staple for the community year after year.” says Sean Miller Show Manager. “Exhibitors and visitors alike have shared their excitement for the return of the show and we’re confident this edition will surpass expectations.”
Some of the amazing features highlighted at this year’s show include:
- Before entering the show, tour both our beautiful modular homes from Citadel Homes and Patterson Home Sales.
- Clean Energy Spotlight: Energy efficient products will be featured in the Clean Energy Spotlight, highlighting solar panels, windmills, smart home automation systems, energy efficient heat pumps, electric vehicles & bikes, and more.
- Door prizes: Scan the QR code upon entering the show for a chance to win a 5-person, 40 Jet Hot Tub courtesy of Hot Tub Universe.
- Feed Nova Scotia Food Drive: There will be a food donation bin where visitors can drop off non-perishable food items to support Feed Nova Scotia at the show.
- Discovery Centre Exhibit: Family and friends can explore the wonders of science and test out the static generator, circuit-building, and more at the show. Happening Saturday, March 23rd from 11:00am – 3:00pm and Sunday, March 24 from 10am-3pm.
- Guest speakers and presentations take over the seminar stage, covering topics such as solar, home renovation, and energy efficiency. Including a live podcast recording of Afternoon Pint with Matt Conrad featuring Ben Dempsy, a local contractor and winner of ‘Tough as Nails’ Season 5. Plus, attendees can attend a seminar by local DIY celebrity Meg Isenor from @makeitlikemegs, who will discuss how to create a beautiful home on a budget. Tickets are available now and can be purchased online or at the door during the show hours. Purchasing tickets online automatically enters you in the draw for the chance to win the show’s door prize plus scan the QR code onsite for a second chance to win a 5-person, 40 Jet Hot Tub courtesy of Hot Tub Universe. Regular adult admission is $12.00, Students & Seniors are $10.00, a Family pass is $30.00, and children under 18 are free of charge. (Military members can take advantage of $3.00 off regular admission)
