Lethbridge, AB – The brand-new Southern Alberta Outdoors Show made its first appearance to the show floor last weekend at Lethbridge’s unofficial kickoff to summer event. The Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre welcomed thousands of eager outdoor enthusiasts to this three-day event, April 5-7, 2024.

“We are so thrilled that the community came out to enjoy this event.” said Pamela Ziwani, Show Manager. “This show proved that Lethbridge needed an event of this type and we’re already thinking ways to expand for next year’s edition.”

Wild TV was the official sponsor of the show’s popular seminar stage where local professionals shared their tips and tricks on a variety of subjects. Many other family-friendly features to explore over the course of the weekend included the fly-casting pond presented by Out Fly Fishing and hosted by Josh Nugent, Fly Tying lessons for the whole family by the local experts from the Chinook Waters Fly Fishing Club, AHEIA brought 3D Archery and the Trailrunners K9 Dog Demos.

Visitors were also encouraged to scan the QR Code at the door for the chance to win one of two door prizes. Congratulations to Roberta Dorner, who won a houseboating trip for 15 people valued at $3728 courtesy of Twin Anchors Houseboats. Another congratulations goes out to Ward Worthington, David Enns and Toanie Kreft, who each won a Napier Truck/SUV tent valued at $400! Thank you to our amazing prize sponsors.
