Moncton Coliseum Welcomed Atlantic Canada’s Largest Trade Event

Moncton, NB – The 2024 MEET (Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology) Show made its biennial return last week. May 1st and 2nd, the Moncton Coliseum hosted the regions largest trade event and welcomed a record-breaking number of qualified industry professionals from both the mechanical and electrical industries. This year’s event featured a SOLD OUT show floor spanning across the entire complex.

“We’ve been blown away by the response to this year’s edition” said Show Manager, Shawn Murphy. “It’s always so exciting to see the progress being made across the industries and our exhibitors truly brought the best of the best.”

The event also featured the 7th biennial MEET Innovation Awards in recognition of current innovative products. Congratulations to this year’s winners:

  • The ACME Award winner: The Master Group and York for their YORK YMAE Air-to-Water Inverter Scroll Heat Pumps
  • The EFC Award Winner: IVRY Technologies for their Virtual Electrical Training (VET) and Virtual Electrician Experience
  • The CIPH Award Winer: BLANCO for their Catris Flexo Filter-Ready Smi-Pro Pull-Down Dual-Spray Kitchen Faucet.
  • The IES Award Winner: LEDVANCE for their OPTI-SELECT Area Light.

The MEET Show was also proud to present the popular Industry Networking Dinner held at the Delta Beausejour Hotel on the evening of May 1st. This exclusive event featured local tastes and entertainment: including circus performers, close-up magic, a caricature artist, and live music.

The show, along with its four sponsoring associations, presented the “Dialogue and Discussion” seminar series which is a set of free presentations for all visitors. To see who presented, check out the show’s website. A huge thank you to all!
